Round 4 – Brands Hatch
We caught up with the drivers after the races to get their thoughts on round 4 of the iRX World Championships, Brands hatch
Yohann Harth — Subaru Motorsports USA
“A decent round for me. Qualifying is still an issue and I don’t really understand why, but both races were a lot better. Heat win and P2 in the Feature with solid pace all the way, bring on Barcelona!”
Jon Robertson — Subaru Motorsports USA
“Overall, it was another great round at Brands Hatch. Obviously I’m disappointed I couldn’t convert pole into the win, but I definitely got lucky to get out of the wreck in P3, so I’ll take it.”
Kevin Ellis Jr — RLL Esports
“Another boost of confidence with another strong Q performance and heat win, just unfortunate the Feature went the way it did. Lessons learned, on to Barcelona. ”
Jake Robertson — RLL Esports
Not the round I expected going into it on Wednesday. Poor qualifying which I can only blame myself for put me in 3rd for my heat. Unfortunately this lead to me being hit before we even got to turn one and an un-driveable car for the rest of the race. The consolation didn’t have high hopes, and as expected didn’t go well either, completing only 1 lap. Can only learn from this and take what we have learnt into the next round to try to improve, still in the top 10 in points at the moment, so it could be worse!”
Pole – Jon Robertson
